I was looking forward to Mr Jeff Kennett’s presentation at Racing Victoria’s open day for trainers on Monday, but l must say he left me depressed!
He slammed the integrity of the sentence handed to Damien Oliver, yet he praised the people who brought down the ruling.
He slammed the corporates, yet on the same day he placed a bet with the very organisation he referred to as a cancer on society.
I know corporates are here to stay, and not once have l said they must go. I merely want the playing field to be completely level and for their contribution to be transparent as is the TAB’s.
They have pillaged enough out of our industry, and we must take action immediately.
