Sub Standard
Thank goodness for the Winning Post. The so-called local paper in Victoria’s south west has dropped its "standard".
In its wisdom it no longer provides a Saturday liftout form guide, no results either. Only local races are published.
With a strong racing following in this area and a great band of local trainers who travel our great state with their horses, racing followers in the south west deserve far better coverage.
I wonder, if Eddie’s mob (Collingwood) were playing on the Gold Coast, would the Herald Sun not publish teams and results? I doubt it.
So come on, racing followers of the south west (including Denis Napthine). Vent your spleen.
