Pride and prejudice

Watching tvn On Saturday December 4, I listened to Richard Callander comment on how the big three stables — Waller (!), Snowden and Waterhouse — are loaded up on two-year-olds at this time of year, and how Joe Pride, with 38 in work, doesn’t train two-year-olds so he has all his horses up and racing.

Please, let’s get the facts right, Richie. Joe Pride does train two-year-olds, albeit not nearly as many as the "big three", but to suggest that’s why he’s so close to them in the premiership is an absolute disgrace and downgrading Joe’s achievements.

Also, out of the 38 in work he would be lucky to have 20 racing at one time.

We all know Waller’s your mate, Richie, but please give it a rest.
