Occasionally I have a small wager based solely on the name of the horse. What astounds me about the name Lilith of Eden (race 2, Gatton, 3/1) is that at last someone else has publicly acknowledged the existence, in religious history, of Adam’s first wife.
Clearly, the church failed to get the right of veto in the naming of horses.
