One can only laugh at the gall of Chris Waller.
He wins three big races at Randwick with imported horses (Moriarty, He’s Your Man and Junoob), and then moans when he finds out that Who Shot Thebarman may miss a Caulfield Cup spot due to imports.
I know these imports are fly-by-nighters, unlike his acclimatised trio, but they are still imports, not locals.
I worked out what Chris Waller was all about early — in the piece where Richard Callander asked him what he liked most about Sydney racing. His answer? The money. Enough said.
