Never forget, or forgive
It is good to read that the Australian Racing Board is introducing a uniform scale of minimum penalties for the cheats in racing.
The media need to back them up by "sending to Coventry" the proven serial offenders.
No more interviews and articles of the "welcome back X, all is forgiven" type.
As ARB cheif executive Peter McGauran said on radio on February 1, there is no place in the industry for these people.
Instead, let’s focus on and acclaim the honest players at all levels of racing.
