Kudos to the MVRC for putting on an excellent night for the best named race in the land — the Moir Stakes.
With promotions revolving around what horse racing is all about — the horses — the club managed to create a terrific atmosphere.
The roar of the crowd when The Cleaner saluted was amazing for this time of year.
The only thing they got wrong was they should have been handing out Buffering stickers instead of Lankan Rupee ones as Buff showed who’s boss!
Congratulations to the MVRC, Rob Heathcote, Damian Browne, connections and, of course, Buffering for providing me (and many other Buff fans) with a night to remember.
