If you believe that they will stop once jumps racing has been banned then think again. In 10 years’ time we will all be watching races from New Zealand, South Africa, America and France. There will be no breeding industry and no racing industry — thoroughbred, standardbred or greyhound.
Animal activists are passionate about animal rights and believe all forms of racing are cruel so what makes anyone think that they are not going to continue to fight for the abolition of all forms of racing?
