Many a slip
I do not expect members of the racing media to be word perfect, but standards are slipping.
According to my Oxford Dictionary, nearly everyone is mispronouncing the word "aristocrat". The emphasis should be on the first syllable, not the second.
Some of the media don’t seem to know that the past tense of "run" is "ran", and that a horse does not run good. It runs well when it runs a good race.
